The Hillside Club in Berkeley is hosting its annual Spring Gala and Auction on Saturday May 26, 2007 6-9:30 pm!
The Club, which counted Berkeley architectural luminaries Bernard Maybeck and Charles Keeler among its early members, is both a beautiful Arts & Crafts building that's an architectural treasure and historic landmark, and a vibrant neighborhood organization . It offers music, theatre, films, book authors, lecture series, dances, and monthly technology forums, as well as an annual Arts & Crafts fair and a judged plein air artists' exhibition.
Come join us! Admission is $35 and includes an extraordinary meal prepared by the Bread Workshop plus sommelier-poured wine, live music by Lorna K & the Dunes, and two auctions.
This year's auction items include a host of unique offerings, including dinner for 8 at the Maybeck Chick House, posters by artist David Lance Goines, laps in a race car with a Hooked on Driving Instructor, private belly dancing lessons...and much more!
